Ashvin Harrison Australian, b. 1984
An artwork inspired by a love of beautiful nature with a focus on existentialism through the beauty of human feminine form. The woman is in a pose of satisfaction as she enjoys the garden growing gently out of her hair and mind. She has the bees of her imagination guiding her to seek clarity in her position of existence in time. This coconut charcoal and acrylic painting on fine art rolled canvas is an expression of life through thought, emotion with fine art realism, expressionism and abstract styles. Coconut charcoal powder provides the representational structure for the beautiful woman with the flowers and bees in her hair, using a unique and also made up technique with paint brushes.
A strong mix of acrylic colours are splashed for an expressive effect for both movement and emotion in what is referred to as a unique creation in ‘Motusrealism’. The bees and flowers were painted in an impressionist and realism style. Oil paint throughout for highlights and extra realism.
