The experiences and stories shared by medical professionals have inspired the creation of this artwork ‘Medical Monday’. This coconut charcoal, acrylic and oil painting on fine art rolled canvas is an expression of life through thought, emotion with fine art realism, expressionism and abstract styles. Charcoal provides the representational structure for the doctor medical practitioner, using a unique and also made up technique with paint brushes. Thin and thick paint in a universe rainbow of colour acrylic is splashed in energetic motion. Look carefully in the middle to see all the planets of the solar system in realistic colour as a reference to their healing purpose and becoming the masters of their universe. A gold shimmer paint was later added to lift the focus on the stethoscope. Sparkle medium added throughout the head of universe explosion, which throws green, purple, blue and clear sparkle effects. Oil paint in white throughout for highlights and extra realism.
